Like everything else, it is always fun to try something new and different.
This is my first try at glass lace/foam.

Looks like you need a big piece of Italian bread with garlic to soak it up  white flag
Great looking plate. I never heard of lace or foam.

Glass lace/foam starts out life as frit (powder and otherwise), added to the kiln shelf in varying thicknesses (remember the 1/4" rule).
It's one of those things that you are never really sure what you are going to get until it is done.
Run a full fuse on it and it bunches up in some areas and thins out in others.
Remove it and clean once it done and fuse it to another piece, and slump if desired.
