I'm getting an early start on this year's Christmas gifts. I finished soldering but still need to add chain to these clown fish suncatchers. I may make a couple more and next time I intend to cut the pink/black coral with the grain going side to side so there is more color variation. Now that summer is here, I'm finding it hard to squeeze in my glass.

While I'm still trying to get my flowers planted so I can get back to my summer glass projects, you are starting on Christmas! OMG you work fast. How do you find the time between full-time employment and Harley fun with your DH??? Are you up all night!!!???

I actually started these about a month ago. I have a couple hot air balloons cut out too and an angel but those need to be put on hold because I owe my friend another prairie style lamp for helping my son get a promotion at his job. When my son graduated college I informed all my friends that anyone who helps my son get a decent job I would do a lamp shade for them. One of my friends who works for the railroad took me up on my offer and recommended my son for a conductor job. I made her a prairie style lamp. He recently applied for a dispatcher job for the same railroad and my friend helped him secure the dispatcher job. The payment, a matching lamp shade. I actually hate panel lamps but it's a small price to pay for the job my son now has!
