I am under the impression that MIKA has a pretty good soldering iron. However, I don't see many stores offering them. Does anyone know why?
I'm curious also about whether anyone knows if the Mica 100watt has a ceramic core or wire?
I have a good iron for myself, but I'm going to be teaching some of my women friends how to make suncatchers. So I'll need a few extra irons. I don't want to spend a bunch on them (as in 2) but I don't want to get trash either because I'll be keeping them as extra's for myself. I have access to extra rheostats, so that's not an issue. Anyone have any advise or online sources they'd like to share?
SO MUCH APPRECIATED!
