  • My husband is interested in hot glass, mainly fusing. I get more than enough heat from my soldering iron and haven't been interested in fusing but now he wants to do something and I really know little about it. What book would y'all suggest for fusing? He's also interested in building his own kiln have any of you tried that??

  • The two best books I've come across are

    #1
    Contemporary Warm Glass

A Guide to Fusing, Slumping, and Kiln-forming Techniques

    by Brad Walker

    #2
Warm glass: a complete guide to kiln-forming techniques : fusing, slumping, casting by Philippa Beveridge, Ignasi Doménech, Eva Pacual, Eva Pascual

Both of those are very good and the #1 you can order online fromthere web site http://www.warmglass.com/CWGSummary.htm

    I hope that helps
