Description: Here's another use of ex-automotive glass.
All tinted glass that wasn't properly tempered and broke into long slender shards instead of the usual small pieces.
This glass used to be a rear window and many of the pieces still have sections of the metallic defroster strips still attached.
When these metallic strips get heated in the kiln, they add some interesting color to the glass.
This piece was first fused flat (sic) in a shallow plate mold and then slumped into a ripple bowl mold.
